Brand Curiosity - Charlotte Tilbury

Keeping with the theme of my curiosity into certain brands, this week's brand of choice is the new-ish make up line from make up artist extraordinaire Charlotte Tilbury.


You name them, Charlotte has done their make up, and recently, she introduced her very own make up line. What I like about this line, besides the absolutely jaw-droppingly stunning packaging, is that everything is split up into ten different looks;

• The Dolce Vita
• The Ingenue
• The Golden Goddess
• The Uptown Girl
• The Sophisticate
• The Rock Chick
• The Bombshell
• The Vintage Vamp
• The Glamour Muse
• The Rebel 

I think the one that's caught my eye is the Dolce Vita, particularly the eyeshadow palette. It consists of four beautiful shades, a pale slightly shimmery nude, a slightly reddish brown colour, a vibrant coppery colour, and what looks like a matte slightly taupey brown shade. When I say 'looks like', I'm only going  from photos here, as I haven't actually seen the collection in person yet.

The whole collection has quite nude tones to it, and to me seems like the look that would be the most adaptable from day to night. The eyeshadow palette in particular could be toned down for daytime wear, but you could also really amp it up for some dramatic night time wear.

I'm going to do my best to find this collection in person; I'll be in London next week so I think that's my best bet.
