I've got quite a few perfumes, but I'm very picky when it comes to choosing them. I don't like anything sweet and sickly, I don't like anything overly floral, and I don't like anything too weird and wonderful. Amazingly enough I've managed to find several fragrances that I adore, and L'Occitane are responsible for two of them, the one in question being the limited edition Fleurs Merveilleuses.
First of all, why must I constantly fall in love with things that are limited edition?! Secondly, why must I fall in love with things with impossible names?! I studied French for eight years and I still struggle to pronounce the name of this perfume! If I stop and think about it each time I can just about manage it, but then I just look a bit weird.
Anyway, back to the product itself. This smells absolutely divine. The packaging tells me that it has notes of red berries, rose and peony. The rose is quite noticeable, but I think something about it not being the only scent makes it steer clear of the dreaded old lady rose smell. This perfume isn't the most long-wearing that I've ever tried, but it is certainly one of the nicest ones I've ever tried, and I'm quite sad that once I finish it I won't be able to get any more, which is why I'm rationing it!
