This poor little mascara gets a lot of criticism across the beauty board. I can't for the life of me work out why. I absolutely love this mascara, and I think its one of the best ones I've ever used.
When I say I love it, I feel like I should explain a bit more. I like to layer my mascaras. I don't know when I decided that wearing two different mascaras was they way to go for me, but nevertheless, for maybe the past four months or so, I've been layering two different mascaras together, with exciting results.

My current combination is the Clinique Lash Power mascara first, followed by Rimmel Scandaleyes. Lash Power is a great mascara, it it quite lengthening, and separates the lashes really well, but I find that it doesn't give me any volume or any 'oomph'. This is where Scandaleyes comes in. Used in its own, I find that this mascara clumps up and doesn't look that great. Also, given the sheer size of the wand, its almost impossible to get right to the roots of the lashes without getting it absolutely everywhere. But when I apply it over the top of the other one, it just gives it...oomph! I can't quite explain the combination of these two mascaras together, but it equals huge, long, separated yet voluminous lashes!
Anyone who has tried this mascara and has hated it should try applying it over the top of another mascara. The end result, and what it adds to the lashes is remarkable.
