Good Lord. Which rock have I been living under all my life? Ladies and gentlemen, its official - I have discovered Essie nail polish. I don't know what took me so long to get my rear into gear, but I have made my first foray into these delightful polishes, and I think they're here to stay.
Having said this, I only own two shades, pictured here. They are the cult classic 'Mint Candy Apple', and 'Chinchilly'. While I absolutely adore both shades, I feel as though I like these polishes more for their unique colour offerings than their formula, which isn't that great. I do get some minor chipping and signs of wear after only a couple of days, even when coupled with Seche Vite. But the colour range. Oh the colour range. Its enough to make me sing from the roof tops.

'Mint Candy Apple' is a perfect mix of blue and green, perfect for summer wear. Its also a lovely colour for toenails, and incidentally, I find that Essie polishes last longer on my toenails than they do on my fingers. The next shade is a beautiful purple-ey-greyish-slate-ey colour, which I think is just so sophisticated. And the name - 'Chinchilly'. Love it.
Next on my list is 'Bahama Mama', followed by 'Ballet Slippers'. And I think they will be in my hot little hands quicker than I'd like to admit.
