Stuff That's Caught My Eye...

Its been a long time since I've had the chance to sit down and write a few good blog posts, and for that, I can only apologise and promise to do better. Although it seems quite self-indulgent to boast about one's 'busy schedule', I really have just been that busy, that the idea of sitting down to write about my favourite beauty items has become a far gone fantasy. I have however spent many a long car journey on my way to work thinking about the stuff I'd like to get my hands on. Here's the low down...

1. Chanel Les Beiges
For some reason, Chanel has caught my eye, big time. I recently splurged on their new cream blush. It was a bit of a risky move with me, as I haven't had much luck with cream blush before. I've tried M.A.C's limited edition cream blush in Florida. I've tried one from Illamasqua, I've tried one from Topshop. But I can safely say the only one that has truly impressed me and done what a cream blush always promised to do, is the Chanel one. And so it begins, the start of something beautiful between Chanel and me. I could write a poem about us. I probably won't, so I'll settle for upping my stash. Starting with Les Beiges.

2. Dior 'Nail Glow'
Once again, Estee of Essie Button fame has caused me to lust after a particular beauty product. She featured this in a video of hers not too long ago. Apparently its a very sheer nail polish, that just adds a little something something to the nails when you can't be bothered going for an all-out manicure. Beauty products that look good but aid my laziness? Sold.

 3. Bumble and Bumble Thickening Dry Spun Finish
It was hard to choose between this, and the much hyped about Oribe offering, but I've decided that this one deserves a spot on my hit list. Having very fine, flat hair, I need all the help I can get when it comes to texture and volume. And this is something I've discovered I need. Sometimes its not always about rocking a full on sixties bouffant. Sometimes a bit of texture is all us flat haired gals need.

I forsee that each one of these products will find themselves in my hot little hands over the next couple of months, so stay tuned for an odd review here and there.
