Essential Beauty Tools

Essential beauty tools doesn't necessarily have to refer to a set of good brushes. While brushes play a vital part in the make up and beauty process, here I have listed some of the unsung heroes of my beauty regime.

Cotton buds - can fix eyeliner mistakes, smudge out liner or eyeshadow, clean up little spots where mascara has dotted (does anyone else get that on their brow bone after applying mascara?)

Cotton pads - work wonders for taking make up off with Bioderma-esque products, applying toner

Fingers - the most underestimated beauty tool of all! Apply foundation in an uber-natural way, apply cream eyeshadows and blush with absolute control, pat concealer into under eye area without it looking cakey - the list is never-ending!

Eyelash curlers - enough said.

Buffing brush - a double-duty product, which can be used to either buff in foundation, or apply cream blush/bronzer

Smaller synthetic brush - god for pinpoint spot concealing/use as a lip brush

Flannels - the ultimate facial cleansing tool. You will ruin them eventually with make up, so don't be afraid to go for cheap ones - they work just as well

Spoolie - can fix over zealous brow product application, or comb through eyelashes if mascara has gone a tad clumpy.
